Heracles Gymnasium
This was printed in a 2x4meters format for a show at Heracles Gymnasium in Milano, Italy.
Working on a brief written by Renato De Donato, I tried to recall “The school of Athens”, a fresco by Raphael depicting the dispute between Plato and Aristotle. There are also references to boxing (the location is a Boxing Gym) and to the Isthmian Games held in Corinth, one of the four great games of Ancient Greece alongside the Olympics and dedicated to Poseidon.
There were physical, fighting, musical and poetical competitions.
